I used to get my hair colored but stopped for health reasons (Hashimoto's and not wanting to use harsh chemicals). I've been missing my red hair so I did a search and found The Henna Guys! I researched henna and watched their how-to videos on YouTube, so my daughter (15) and I were able to color each other's hair easily! This was Mahogany with hibiscus tea. It was in my daughter's hair for 3 hours and in mine for 2 hours as we had a family hike later that day. I do recommend mixing with an essential oil for the smell, which lasted a few days for us. It was a fun experience, we get compliments on our hair - people can't believe it's henna, and we are excited to try Deep Red next month! We're hooked! Thanks for an amazing product!

Beautiful color

My natural hair color is dirty brown with some grays. I have made the switch to henna over a year ago after using chemical hair dye for 20 years. I will never go back to the awful chemicals! Henna takes time, but it's so worth it. I have used 3 different colors from Henna guys and mahogany is my favorite!

I have been using henna for more than 15 years. My previous source changed its formula and their new version is just not cutting it. I was hesitant to switch after so many years, but I'm so glad I did! The prep and application were easier and much cleaner with Henna Guys! And the results were both dramatic and natural looking. Highly recommend! PS Please don't change the formula!!

Love the color

As a brunette, this mahogany henna color brings an interesting nuance of red with my natural brown hair, which looks subtle and not too red.

LOVE the rich, deep color I achieved!

I am SO STOKED about the color results I achieved! I used four tbsp of Mahogany and two tbsp of Auburn. The result is a very rich, deep, and beautiful color that I've been wanting to create. (I'll play with this in the future and probably use more M, less A ). I've been a long-time user of henna from another company (L***) and their "red hair" formula shifted over the years to a copper/brassy/brown result. I was *thrilled* to find The Henna Guys and their offerings of the deeper red/auburn/mahogany options. I really like the smoothness and texture of this henna, it was very easy to apply. I followed all applications instructions, including to let the mahogany set-up for 8+hours. I initially used review photos as guidance, so I wanted to pass along my input for others - many THANKS to The Henna Guys for a great product and LOTS of guidance to achieve excellent results. Highly recommend!

The best henna I gave used by far

I have tried several different companies and the henna guys is the best one hands down. The color looks great and feels very nourishing to my hair.

Once again, I believe I ordered the wrong color.

I have not used it yet. I used Mahogany with my last brand. This one looks brighter than Auburn. I wanted something less orange.

The color is exactly as pictured in my light brown/dirty blonde hair. instructions were easy to follow and my hair looks and feels way better than when I would use chemical dyes.
